Description Agrippa, B.C 63 - 12 B.C. Æ As, Rome 37-41. Struck by Caligula, in the name of Agrippa. Agrippa never reigned as Emperor. An attractive coin with an interesting portrait, pleasing chocolate brown in colour. From an old European collection, with a collector number (1013) on the reverse. Obverse: Head of Agrippa left, wearing a rostral crown. Legend: M.AGRIPPA .L . F . COSS III Reverse: Neptune, nude except for cloak hanging over his left shoulder and his aight arm, standing front, head to his left, holding a small dolphin in his right hand and a trident in his left.
