Description Thurii, AR Nomos, 350-300B.C. Lucania mint. (modern-day Sibari in Italy). Obverse: Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with scylla scanning to the right. Reverse: Bull butting right, monogram on his hindquater, above ΘOYΡIΩN, in exergue a fish swimming right. Silver, 7.79g, 21mm. Reference: BMC 2. Grade: aVF. Providence: Ex; Otago coin International.
