Description Ancient Greek. Island of Thrace. Thasos, Tetradrachm after B.C. 146. Obverse: Head of young Dionysus, wreathed with ivy and head band across forehead. Reverse: Heracles naked standing left, holding a club, lion skin over left arm, to right "HRAKLEOUS" to left "SOQROS", below "QASION', M to left in field. Silver, 16.39g, 27mm.
