Description Roman Imperatorial coinage 71-27 B.C. Gaius Julius Caesar, 100-44 B.C. In 44 B.C. the senate named him dictator for life. AR Denarius circa 46 B.C. Struck at the miliatary mint while on campaige in North Africa. Obverse: Head of Ceres right, wearing wreath of barley. Legend: COE TERT - DICT ITER.
